We all knew he was lying when he said he wouldn’t. Anyone who believes he wasn’t is lying to themselves. I find it quite ironic that in his pardon letter, he even lies about lying about it. LOL

There’s some POTUS powers I never fully understood, and pardoning anyone they want for essentially any reason, is one of them. Pardoning a family member of criminal charges would be exhibit A. I’m still glad he did it as it just confirms what a lying sack he is, and has always been, and none of the Biden supporters will be able to spin it. It will just confirm/support why they lost, why house cleaning needs to happen, why the right guy won the election.
Hence, it’s actually a net positive in the grand scheme of things, it’s one more nail in the coffin for the D party overall. It will be used to demonstrate just how crooked they are, making the orange guy look mild by any comparison.

Looking at this from the perspective of a Dad.
If I was considering running for POTUS as a former V-POTUS and knowing my vulnerabilities I would have passed.
You owe it to your legacy, your family and the Country to not drag everyone through this, but he did it anyway.
It was just scandle after scandle with the FBI and MSM trying as hard as possible to clean up behind him. Essentially doing a heck of a job to drag all of the MSM and FBI’s remaining credability in to the crapper.
And all of this while Billions upon Billions of tax dollars were being given to Big Pharma while we were being forced to take a bogus experimental vaccine.
All the while we had train derailments and toxic spills and Hurricane damaged States crying out for help and they barely earned a fly over.
Great Time to be the Prince, but it sucks to be a Peon.

The repercussions for the Democrats will be coming for some time, right now they are scrambling to meet the Money Demands of the Mid-Terms as donors are looking at the Kamala debacle and doing forensic accounting to find all the $.
Add to that the overall decline in America’s trust for these guys being exposed like this and it’s looking like what could be a hell of a Decade for Democrats, if they last that long.

The pardon wasn’t specifically for Hunter, it was a blanket pardon covering the years when he went to Ukraine until now. This pardon kills the federal forensic investigation that happens that goes along with this. What he did was protect HIS @ss and his families illegal bribe money from being proved and brought to the public limelight when that forensic investigation took place.
This wouldn’t kill an investigation into Joe though, just pardons the son of crimes. So it wouldn’t/shouldn’t protect the whole family.

Which is why Joe must now pardon everyone else in the Biden Crime Family.
It doesn’t, but without charges, there is no investigation to begin with. The pardon took that scheduled investigation off the table.
That assumes the Trump DoJ will adhere to the very DoJ rules the Biden DoJ ignored. While Biden spoke of respecting established “norms”, his henchmen were breaking them at a record pace.
They can always claim they’re investigating an un-pardoned person, as they leak damning information snd speak publicly about the Biden’s crimes.
