I ordered an LMT upper with a Larue 7in and various other stuff (Aimpoint etc.) from Grant at G&R Tactical and I must say I’m totally stoked! Took it out and ran a couple of hundred rounds of 5.56mm spec ammo through it the other day, and sighted it in at 50m and It’s awesome. Totally smooth and consistent, and drops the brass in a nice neat pile. It’s also pretty accurate, but I need a bit nicer trigger to wring the accuracy that’s there out of it. Pending reliability testing this will be my main SHTF/Killer Zombie attack gun.

It’s a Pelican 1200 which can be had on the net for around $35.

How do you get the mags out of that pelican? tip it over?

I love the CMMG rollmark. I sold one of my other ones because I want to try to collect 1 of each AR lower I like, but it’s a sweet logo.

It goes together without any drama but doesn’t rattle very much.
