The way I look at it is that ANY ammo can give you a “kaboom.” It is how the company handles the “kaboom” that matters to me.

Hunting Shack (Montana) is good stuff and priced great. Most places carry the stuff up here in WA., especially the WAC shows. I prefer it to most of the plinking stuff…cleaner than WWB in 45ACP and way cleaner than Wolf in rifle calibers.
when i first got my ar that is all i shot then it dried up really fast to where there is never any on the shelf ever .if you keep getting this stuff in count me in for 1000 rounds

I’ve shot about 2k rds of their 223R 55 gr without any problems. Of course I picked it up back when the price was reasonable.
They also developed their own 75gr 556 clone (I believe it is called their
556 T round) , which is alot less expense than the real 75gr 556 TAP:D
Just got off the phone with HSM. They apparently raised DEALER prices, but decided to not raise retail prices. By the time I pay shipping to me, I would break even on cases of 1K or more. :mad: So I have cancelled my orders with them.

D’OH! That’s uncool of them, unless they’re wanting to discourage dealers from selling their ammo for them (at least at the same price point on the shelf).
One door closes and another opens up. I did manage to score some PRVI NEW manufacturered, brass cased 55gr, 62gr and 75gr. Should be showing up by Friday!

Good ammo but HSM order system could use some upgrades. Don’t like that after you order you really don’t have any ideal if the ammo is in stock or when it will ship.
Hopefully they will see that having dealers will increase their sales and brand recognition instead of being in direct competition to themselves.

I shot a bunch of the 55gr M193 Priv when it first came out and was pretty pleased by it.
I’m interested in practice/training ammo, I have run a ton of wolf but at the current prices I would rather get brass cased ammo. I just burned up the last of my $80 per k stash, but I don’t think wolf is worth more than $120 per k…
Also how about AE .223? I got some at a local MG shoot for cheap and it seemed decent, the cases seemed a little soft but seemed to shoot well, I think it would be great for my 3gun needs. 
I would also like to try some of that PRIV out.
Could you give a discount for 1,000 rounds?
Be aware that the PRVI 62 grain is not a M855 equivalent. They use a shorter lead core bullet much like the Fed. AE 62 grain ammo. The 55 grain ammo is M193 spec and GTG.
