Please share your tips on cleaning the extractor (Bolt). Also, if there is any good photo’s / video that would be helpful. Lastly, is there any special precaution for cleaning the LMT enhanced Bolts?
I never clean them, but I hear its simple and a good idea. Do you clean yours?

The Extractor really doesn’t get any type of “special” attention. Whether you use my cleaning method with the Odorless Mineral Spirits/CLP solution or another type of solvent, the extractor really only needs a quick brushing down with a GI tooth brush. Pay particular attention to the Extractor “claw” when brushing. Ensure it is free from firing debris.
I have no personal experience with the LMT Enhanced Bolt, but cleaning it should be as straight forward as cleaning a standard AR bolt.

I soak mine in Quibs mix and everything comes right off with a brush like he said!
No special requirment for the enhanced bolt I just hose mine down with gun scrubber and brush it off with an old tooth brush. There is no rubber o-ring in the extractor so no worries about damaging it with solvent.
I have a tiny double ended machine screw driver. One of the ends fits perfectly in the extractor groove, so I just scrape it out real quick.
An extended paper clip also works well when cleaning the recessed areas of the extractor.
You can often find cheap dental tools as well at gun shows. I got some off my neighbor (dentist).

I’m trying to remember a time when CLP and a toothbrush didn’t adequately take care of the extractor groove, and can’t.
