So maybe my Google-Fu is weak, but I’ve looked everywhere for instructions on how to remove the B5 Systems Bravo buttpad from the stock. All I can find are references to broken tabs where people tried to do the same. I bought a Wolf Grey B5 but I want to replace the grey rubber buttpad with a black one. I’m afraid I’ll end up one of those broken tab people. Does anyone know of a guide or can someone instruct me on the proper removal and installation of the buttpad?

On the SOPMOD all you have to do is squeeze the tabs and the stock will come off. Just be mindful that you’re dealing with little plastic tabs. They are stiff, but I suppose if you pushed like a gorilla you could break them. Use your man strength, not your gorilla strength and all will be ok. Go easy and apply increasing (squeezing) pressure slowly and gradually, as you try to push them out at the same time. That will reduce the likelihood of you over squeezing and snapping them in towards each other.
The rubber is built into the stock? I thought it was a separate part that attached to the backplate of the stock. Shows what I know, I guess.
