How do you go about having your sbr or suppressor (or other NFA items) cerakoted? Is there a form you are required to send in? Is it just considered normal gunsmith work? Does it have to be a class 3 dealer or a manufacturer to be able to do it? Does it have to be a shop that’s located in my state?
Another question about silencerco suppressors. The only one I’ve handled is the sparrow and it looks as if all of the factory markings (SN, mfg info, model) are laser etched instead of engraved. Will cerakoting it cover up the markings or is it deep enough to not have to worry about it?
