I’m aware of that event, but I believe there wasn’t a big stink about it, because it was done to rescue an American citizen. I really think that if we were to just board, seize, & subsequently destroy a vessel suspected of pirating, some left leaning nut job or someone in the administration would bitch and moan about how we’re interrupting some poor Somali fisherman’s way of life.

I think the main reason America is so fucked up right now is because people make irrational assumptions about their fellow citizens. All of them start with the words “left” and “right”.

I agree somewhat, but it’s as left as you can get here and the majority of people were calling our SEALS “barbarians” for saving that ship.
