So I am getting ready to start a trust. I was looking over one that a friend of mine had drawn up. This thing is 22 pages for only the trust document. Is that normal? He had no special circumstances or requirements just the typical stuff. I had no idea, I was thinking 3-5 pages max. What is the deal? Is that typical?

I have 2; one is 32 pages, the other 13. (different states).
Mine was professionally drafted by Sean Cody and is 34 pages in length. 36 if you count the inventory assignment pages.
13 pages, no schedule of property.
Mine was drafted by an NFA attorney (Jim Willi) and the main trust document is 18 pages. With the other supporting documents it’s a total of 26 pages in length.
20 pages including schedule A and affidavit.
Thirteen pages.
30 including the amendment added to “fix” the trust name. Written by a lawyer. (That does include the Cert of Trust, Schedule A, individual notarized trustee pages, and the title page for each section). I did remove about 10 pages of intro, definitions, and extras pages that were provided.
Why does the number of pages matter? Each State will be different, just hire an attorney and be done with it.

Mine is 19 pages and covers trustees in TX and AR
All I know is that mine are long. I had them done up by a lawyer though and one that was highly reccomended.
Mines about 13-15 pages IIRC. Had a local lawyer draw mine up. I keeps it in the safe.
It’s normal. Mine is 17 pages, drawn up by a NFA/estate lawyer.

Mine is only 13 pages for the body of the trust, not including Schedule A or assignment sheets.
Mines 57 iirc. I needed to cover some specific inheritance issues so mines a bit longer than normal. NFA estate attorney did mine

Mine is currently 11 pages, including schedule A. I’m currently having a new lawyer review it, so it may change.
My Trust is seven pages total, and was drafted by the Bass Firm.
