To this I agree. I don’t currently own a BCM upper but like the other posts on this forum would love to pick up a 20" upper and try to reproduce my M16A4 I became so found of.
Only bought one, 14.5. ELW KRM, but I may buy an 11.5"… Hard part is picking rail for a short barrel.
I have only BCM uppers on BCM lowers and a factory LMT MRP 10.5" SBR w/ Saker .556
-14.5" w/ BCM Mod 1 comp
-16" BHF w/ Mod 1comp
-16" BCM SS410 w/ Mod 0 comp
Went by my local shop today, was just going to pick up a SD3G for the 14.5", but decided to go ahead and grab an 11.5’ after all since they were running the free BCG promo still through Sat. Didn’t really care for any of the 11.5" rail options in stock - they had a DD Slim, DD RIS18, a couple of Alphas, and a Larue which I almost bought. So just wound up with a Govt/A2 version, figure I can run it as is, or convert it to whatever rail I want.
Only one. It’s a complete BCM 16" mid-length, FSB, LMT rear sight and MOE stock and handguards.
20" back in stock. I just grabbed one. Came to $508 with Mod3 CH & BCG.
