How do you pronounce Lapua? I’ve heard too many people pronounce this differently, sometimes in ways that make me tilt my head like a dog hearing a high-pitched noise.

It almost sounds like La-Poo, with the ah trailing off.

If you are English, I bet it’s lap as in lap dance, LAP-you-uh. This is based on them pronouncing Jaguar as JAG-you-are and aluminum as al-you-MINium
