What a F’d up day March 21st, 2010 is.

I just started watching “The Pacific” episode 2 and I heard Tom Hanks’ as the narrator.

I know we just had a thread about this, but God damn it, I will not listen to his effing voice and enjoy the production.

By the way, why has nobody here mentioned the God damned forsaken events in Washington tonight?

We have only Americans to blame for being too stupid prior to Nov. '08 to see what a man like BHO was going to do.

There is a long time before anything actually happens on the HC law. I did not read the news so I have to assume that what they voted on was the NOT the actual Senate bill that had passed but they did that “Slaughter” thing(??)

That will end up at SCOTUS and I suspect ruled that it did not pass legally if that is the case.

Plus a lot happens between now an 2013 when the provisions are supposed to take effect.

There will be legal challenges on the Constitutionality of forcing people to buy insurance, etc.

I think the Democrats just pulled the trigger on a game of russian roulette where all the cylinders were full.

It ain’t over yet.

No they voted directly for the senate bill, and passed it. Obama is going to sign it so the senate bill will become law. They also passed a reconciliation bill which will have to be voted on in the senate. If/when that passes the president signs, that, and that is put into law which will modify the senate bill passed tonight.

Blacks and Latinos!?!?? No, this about a nation that has forgotten about what this nation is and what it stands for. This is about our loss of morals and standards. Where is our pride in the stars and stripes? This will probably seem like a cheesy analogy but I remember as a kid going to see Rocky 4 and when Rocky finally floored that big Russian Communist everyone,including myself, jumped out of their seats and cheered. Why did we do it? Pride! We loved the United States. This country desperately needs it back.

Good for them. Makes my analogy of russian roulette even more apt. This election in Nov should be very interesting. What with 500 billion dollars in cuts in Medicare, the geriatric vote will disappear for these clowns, and everybody else almost will be pissed.

Should be interesting year. I think BHO just became a one term President. As one apt analyst mentioned: the “benefits” don’t start until 2013 but the pain starts now. People will remember the pain and will not see any benefit of this.
