There’s a couple of threads over on TOS about hornady’s QC problems of late. 
The 6.8 spc looks like a “no flash hole” prob. A pretty rare thing in my experience. Let’s hope it’s not a chronic “Toyota” kind of prob.
Yeah. Losing confidence in ammo is a big issue.
I’ve never been a big Hornady ammo fan anyway. And I refuse to use Federal ammo after personally having dud primers in their “Premium” line.
The best QC out there in my experience is Gold Dot. I know Federal/ATK/Speer are all intermingled and such… but the Gold Dot line of pistol and rifle ammo is clearly a cut above.
