Hooters & Shooters! Green Beret Pro-Am Shoot 2013

On Veterans Day, I participated in a match dedicated to raising money and awareness for the Green Beret Foundation. The GBF funds treatments for wounded SF and provides financial support for SF Gold Star families (families of SF killed in action).

It was one of the coolest events I’ve ever been a part of, and no, it’s not just because it was sponsored by Hooters. The competition was extremely well organized by Frankie McRae and 37 PSR GUN CLUB, and it ran exceptionally smoothly.

This video shows a bit of the jaw-dropping opening ceremonies, then introduces the four stages of competition. With over 20 teams when you include the Hooters teams, I could not feature everyone in one video. This video shows two different Hooters teams in action, and wow, you will be impressed at how intuitively skilled these four women are with both rifles and handguns.

Sure, this video is fun to watch, but please keep in mind that this is all for the Green Beret Foundation. Please visit http://www.greenberetfoundation.org to learn more about this great organization.

The event raised $20,000 last year. Wait until you see how much they raised this year.
