Wasn’t making any inference (sp?) of you making/creating a full-auto gun. Only used the reference to the court case to illustrate how prosecutors can and have filed charges on what you and I would consider a malfunction in a factory gun.
Lawyers and guns don’t mix, er that is unless you are shooting them. 
I’ve got 2 ‘builds’ in the works & did most of the 15 min trigger job on them as I put in the LPK. I have 2 other ARs with aftermarket triggers,(Jewel, & RR Nat’l match). My reasoning is it is worth a test & I have other springs around. If it were to not work out I could put in an un-altered spring or a complete after-market trigger. Most stock AR triggers are not where I want to be when it comes to predator hunting, target shooting, or a day in dogtown. I do realize there are different requirements for the high stress combat environment/training.
that was an initial concern of mine was the increased possibility of the gun going off if dropped, but, this trigger is heavier then the alternative drop in trigger i was gonna use so, its still safer. i understand what your saying though, i can see people doing just that.
