Holster attachment help

Hey all, I need a bit of help,

I really like my Safariland ALS holster, but with my current setup it is pretty far away from my body. Any ideas on how to get it in tighter?

Setup is: HSGI suregrip belt, G-code RTI battle belt molle adapter, G-code to Safariland adapter, ALS holster

Thanks in advance!

I use the gcode duty attachemnt that attaches directly to the belt through the bottom of the battle belt. It drops the weapon down and holds it closer that yours looks

I just switched over from using that method. I don’t like the drop that much.

Squirrel,

I usually thread my belt outside of 2-3 sections of molle and run the belt through my Safariland 7378 then back under the remaining molle. This should get you the tight setup you are after but you lose the adaptability of the RTI mount.

masan, I definitely like the idea, but I don’t think it will work with the HSGI belt.

Sorry, I should have included that mine is from Velocity sys

Get rid of all the adapters and use just a Safariland molle adapter. I rather use a dedicated holster for every situation than stack adapters on top of adapters.

I actually didn’t know they made a simple molle adapter until I went looking for it. Everything I’d seen before was some sort of adapter system like their MLS or QLS thing. I’ll pick one up. Thanks!

the adapters are so thick. i don’t understand why people use them. it creates a longer lever arm for the gun to whip back and forth when running. it makes you run into everything from door frames to desks to car doors. the worst.
