Hey folks. I read an article a few days ago in (I think) Handloader Mag. on Hogdon CFE Pistol Powder. Has anyone tried this yet and if so does it work as well as advertised?

Are you thinking about CFE223?
I use CFE Pistol for 9mm and it works very well in my HK P30. It has a polygonal bore, so copper fouling typically isn’t a problem, but it burns a hell of a lot cleaner than the Bullseye I started with. I do know that the CFE223 powder works as advertised in rifles. I’m sure the CFEPistol is the same.
I have been using CFE Pistol in both 9mm and 45acp, loading jacketed bullets. In fact I like it so much I picked up a 8lb jug yesterday.

Ignore my last obviously OP.
Using it for my 9mm 125gr lead bullets. There is a lack of pistol powders around so using what I can get. Shoots well in my home built government 1911 for the wife. Using around 5 grains.
What I have not seen is the Hodgdon claim that it reduced copper fouling in your pistol.
But I have not seen copper fouling in my pistols before I started using CFE Pistol so how could I see a reduction of fouling?
