Vancouver fan primarily but watch a lot of Stars games since they are the local team, and we have the Texas Stars AHL team in my city which we like to go see 1-2 times a month. Neat to see some of the guys work their way up.
Now gotta call Time Warner and see how much they want for NHL center ice for the rest of the season. I might do it over my PS3 since I think it’s more interactive, and can bring up older games.
Vancouver is one of the most despised teams in the league. Got nothing against the Dallas Stars though.
Gamecenter live is only $50 from NHL.com. You get all the games either live or on-demand and you can also watch on the PS3 or smartphone. I’ve had gamecenter for the last two seasons and love it.

Signed up for game center but they don’t have a 2012-2013 app in the PlayStation store, and the one you can download doesn’t support this season.
The app for the Iphone hasn’t been upgraded to support the Iphone 5.
No app for Samsung Smart TV’s.
So paid 50 bucks and I can watch it on my laptop I guess.
Oh I also friggen HATE NBC for when they bought out Versus TV. Versus used to have all kinds of hockey games on, sports besides the usual “College Basketball” that dominates sports this time of year. Now NBC has turned out what used to be about the best sports channel there was into another damn sports channel that is nothing but college basketball. All these hockey games today, after missing half the season, theres ONE game being shown today. :rolleyes:
PS3 gamecenter app should be updated soon. I guess they didn’t have time update it before season started. Oh well, I have Kings/Hawks on TV and watching Pens/Whiners on my pc
Watching the Kings/Hawks game, too. Not sure why the switched from the Flyers game back to this game. Hawks are winning 4-0 and the Flyers game was more competitive…
Seems like the Flyers woke up in the 2nd. The game should be streaming on nbcsports.com, it is for Hawaii anyway.
Learned you can’t glove the puck anymore. As in ‘catching’ it and putting it back down on the ice. You can use the outside of the glove or arms or whatever but no more catching the puck.

I wasn’t really excited about the start of the season a few days ago, but I am now! Pens/Flyers looked like they just continued the series from last season. I hope the Coyotes game goes just as well in a couple hours.
Thank god hockey is back…I have a hard time watching the NFL now. Seems like it just a bunch of commercials with a few plays stuck in for fun.
Cup needs to come to the desert this year!

Some of the scores suprised me today, st louis droppin 6 on the dead wings in a shutout, the ducks scoring 7 against the canucks. Crazy opening day. Oh how ive missed it!

Dallas looks like a new team. A few changes, and they have a lot of pep in their step. Almost shutout Detroit in their home opener (Det goal was with 3 seconds left), and playing well against the the Blackhawks tonight.
We are going to try to go up to see a Dallas Stars game next month, and take advantage of their offer through the end of Feb with one full price adult ticket getting a 12 and under ticket for free. So it would be half price for us, and about the same as seeing the Texas Stars. Going to combine a Lego Land trip for our twins and spend the night up there.
