I’m so sick of the conspiracy theorist and doom and gloom that i need something to get my mind off of it all. So finally after the lockout the puck drops January 19th! Its going to be a short frantic season where every game is that much more important.
Who do you guys have lifting the Cup this year? I’m hoping my Sharks wont pull a playoff choke like they have the last couple years and win it all.

Not a fan of basketball, baseball is over, and the NFL season is coming to a close. I miss my hockey. So I am super glad they finally settled and will be lacing up the skates.

The best part about this NHL season? I only have to wait for 48 games to pass and then I can watch the playoffs.

haha my wife would agree with you. It might be weird having the playoffs in june though. I guess that means less layover until Football starts back up again.

I was really looking forward to the season before the lockout but now I’m not really too excited. Who knows, maybe I’ll be more excited after a few Coyotes games.
I can’t understand why both sides would shoot themselves in both feet and and chop of a hand…the nhl seemed like it was getting popular with casual fans. What’s more annoying is that Indycar did the same bs and the NHL.
Oh well…if all else fails ALMS/WEC and Super GT are a couple months away.

You mean the best player in the league? Well when you get cheap shoted to the head you might be feeling the same way. Better to be on the cautious side and be able to have a long career then throw caution to the wind and short change yourself.
Also let me know when the last time the CAPS won a Stanley Cup or actually did something in the playoffs besides choke.
