No hard feelings, you were just engaging in a commonly used tactic against someone you view as a political enemy. 
I do not see you as an enemy - just someone I do not agree with on much. ISIS is an enemy, so is the IRGC, Antifa, the People’s Party for Socialism and Liberation, people who amputate the genitals of confused young people, and folks who highlight library books.
Nope, you already did the Sovietesque claim of mental illness because our positions are so different.
ISIS, IRGC, Antifa, and People’s Party for Socialism and Liberation at least support some variation of a massive police state which means I’m less popular than they are.
I cannot speak for other members of the board, but I would seriously doubt that you are less popular than ISIS, the IRGC, Antifa, etc. If nothing else there is a common interest in firearms and support for the 2nd Amendment. If we were to meet at a shooting match I would imagine we could have some interesting and fun conversation.

No, I’m quite certain any group that wants heavy handed .gov is viewed as more useful than a group that doesn’t. That’s why gop politicians and voters get along with democrats and other larger government groups better than they do with any sort of limited gov/pro liberty groups.
I’m not a corporate exec, gop official, cop, mil, or from any other group that is considered interesting.
I don’t think anything about this incident
was cool or anything other than a series of criminal acts by a gang of criminals so i wouldn’t be considered fun either.
And i would already be aware that you would be claiming i was bipolar for not being in lockstep agreement with you also.

That’s one I’ve never picked off of me and only seen one on a turtle’s belly plates.
A buddy went tubing in the Little River(I think that is the name) that runs along Townsend, TN and was surprised it was loaded with leeches.
And here we had such a nice civil thread with someone even politely complimenting a member of frequent disagreement… trying to decide whether to lock this one or not.

I’ve got them a time or two, it’s creepy to find them but easy to get rid of them.
I was evaluating a Light Infantry Unit and I was working with the dismounted TOW Guys, we came upon a dying Giant Buck that was gasping his last breath, I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with him until I saw him from the other side.
Than Deer looked like his whole underside was Armor Plated. I have never seen that many Ticks in one place, it looked like a plastic black mass attached from his chin to his butt hole.
That Creeped me Out, that and the Spider the size of a frizbee in the Philippines.

A buddies neighbor flagged him down because a deer had just got hit in front of their place and his initial idea was to finish it off and get some of the meat off of it until seeing it was covered in ticks like that.
Added news,
Asian long horned ticks drained some cattle in Tennessee.
I would have been surprised too - I always associate leeches with tropical jungle settings like the Amazon or other exotic locations. So, I learned something new today.

It doesn’t have to be “Swampy”, it’s just more likely to happen there.
In places where the Humidity and the Fauna are exceptionally high you can get them off of the ground and it would seem some plants.
I got a Leech in Germany swimming in a local Lake.
I was in Fort Chaffee Arkansas when I found that Buck. It just so happened that about 25% of the Guys I went up there with came home with RM Spotted Feaver.
That area looks like Gods Country but they got some Bugs for you, I will tell you that.

The part about Little River and leeches that surprised me is most of it flows fairly fast and(from when/where i have felt it) fairly cold.
I was thinking more like slow or no flow water. The turtle mentioned earlier was in Buck Creek which is usually very slow flowing.
We do have humidity here, the temperature earlier was 79° with a “feels like” of 95°.
A guy who did some dozer work for my parents back in the 80s died from(or was seriously disabled from) Rocky Mountain spotted fever.
That was prior to deer in the area making a comeback which didn’t ramp up until the 90s. Lyme disease is fairly common in the area and I know a few people with Alpha Gal.
