I was shooting my Springfield G3 (A Greek, HK Licensed HK91) and was really enjoying it. I was wondering, how difficult is it to get one of these rebarreled? I don’t want a bull barrel or anything like that (in fact, the barrel is like new, I was just wondering how much hassle it would be down the line)?
Anybody make a quality std profile HK91/G3 barrel?

Greg, there are plenty of smiths out there with experience rebarreling Herr Doktor Vorgrimmler’s boomstick.
You might want to grab one of those barrels in the second link, they’re the last of the foreign factory G3 barrels. Most likely POF.
How much shooting do you do?
Most of the HK owners I know will be having their grandkids enjoy their rifles with the original barrels.
What reason do you have to rebarrel the Greek SAR rifle?
