HK417 Photos?

Anyone know of any new HK417 photos floating around anywhere? I’ve seen the usuals on HKPRO and what not, but haven’t come up with anything recent. I know it’s still a new platform so I wouldn’t be surprised if there aren’t many out there. Thanks in advance for any info.

Any new ones would most likely show up on HKPro like you mentioned. Shot Show is almost here and I’m pretty sure lots of new pics will come up.

A better question is who has one and how do I buy it.

And don’t give me that LE/military only crap either.

+1:) …

Guess what, here’s the LE/Mil crap: unlike a 416 upper which can be put on any AR lower, there is no backwards compatable lower for the 417.

It is a newly manufactured machinegun & can only be bought by agencies/DOD/etc.

For now…

Dano you nearly pissed in my cornflakes. But alot like the 416 upper in my safe. They will make it out onto the market eventually.

A 416? Or a 416 upper?

Will be out on the range tomorrow, will see if I can take a few.

I like the sound of that.

I can just put some JB weld in the sear holes, and transfer one to myself right?..

This is a rheticorical Q for the humorless

As long as you don’t tell the ATF, or anyone on the internet you should be GTG…:stuck_out_tongue:

Let’s hope Wilcox comes through for us.

I would love to buy a U.S. built semi-auto 16" HK417 next year.

I look forward to seeing them! Thanks!

Just got off the phone with a certain Fed LE rep in Ashburn. I was told the 417’s in 12" and 20" are currently available for agency purchase and the 16" isn’t far off. I was quoted $2880 for the 12" and $2990 for the 16". Just figured I’d give you guys a heads up.

Two items on my dream list:

a 10.5" 416 and a 16" 417

I could pretty much replace everything except a couple of AK’s with those two. Then again, I could always get an AK lower for a Masada…

A 16 inch 417 is VERY tempting. I might put my M14 away for that.

Somebody touring the HK Germany factory took these HK417 photos very recently. It’s enough to get me drooling for the U.S. made Wilcox rifles.

Very nice! Thank you for sharing VA Dinger! I’m sure you’d be considered a hero if you posted these over on HKPRO.
