Does anyone know if you can change the 9mm barrel out of a mp 5 to a .40 cal or 10 mm ? Is the frame different in these two weapons? I was looking at the HK parts site and they had .40 trigger groups and .40 barrels and I got to wondering. Any info would be helpful!
Receivers are different. 40/10mm has larger magwell, different mag release, and a last round bolt hold open.
Just buy a 40 cal clone, it will be cheaper than having someone cyt and weld your 9mm receiver.
