Picked up another HK 91 a few weeks ago for a really good price with a nice group of accessories.
Aside from a original HK 91 loader and unloader I also received a new in the plastic bag 4th gen
1200 meter mechanical sight.
Anyone ever used one of these ?
I understand they were supposed to be used on the Model 21 GPMG, but found their way to individual
G3 rifles .
I just wonder if anyone here has ever installed one on their 91, and if so did you like it ?
It looks like it might still fit under the QD scope mount, even has windage adjustment knob.
If that’s what I think it is; they use those on MSG 90s
Ive seen them on MSGs, 21/23s and whatever HKs designation for there new belt felt GPMG is. Ive never seen one of those sights on real HK91s only on some clones IIRC. The one guy I know, had it on a recent PTR 91. He liked it but he did shoot alot of high power, etc long distance type stuff early on in life. Not PRS mind you, the competions you see on manicured ranges by the yellow shade guys. He did not have an optic on the PTR so no I have idea if it fit underneath claw mount.
Yeah, they were used on the MSG90 A1, but not on the first MSG30s. They are also a little optimistic and any receiver that doesn’t incorporate rail stiffeners like the MSG90 and PSG1 (although the PSG1 doesn’t have iron sights).
Probably still good 'nuff for ‘harassing fire’ 
I’d rather have that sight on a 21 if we are gonna harass folks.
I will find out how realistic the sight is this summer, right now it is still very cold and covered in that white stuff, to venture forth for more than a few magazines
worth.
