So should I go out and buy a HK 416 cause a M4 can’t shoot in water? When person shooting the Colt he changes to a different mask I wonder of HK did something to the Colt to make it malfunction?
He did do something to the Colt - he filled the gas tube with water.
Clock the time between the time it took to fire a round after the rifles emerge from the water. :rolleyes:
Someone correct me if I am wrong, but the H/K passed because there is no gas tube for the water to get in to so there would be no pressure issues.
Of course, I was always taught to keep my wepaon out of water and tilt it rearwards to drain if it did get submerged.
I guess if you are a KampfschwimmerKommando or A Navy SEAL this would be really important. :rolleyes:
Our own Navy SEALs and Recon Marines have been using the AR platform for decades and they didn’t need a 416.
Do you really plan on having to pop up out of the water and shoot?

But, what if he had a round chambered and it was tight and the water in the barrel couldn’t drain out and he pulled the trigger? The gun would blow up and then the mission would be FUBAR. :eek:

I believe this is in response to one of the SCAR requirements, in which the 416 did not compete due to whatever reasons. This requirement, while questionable in its validity was still a requirement.
So I don’t have to Google ‘gay’ and then ‘images’ when thinking of you!
