I was browsing Gunbroker today and found this:
“NEW LMT Lewis Machine and Tool AR15 lower reciever–brand new and has a black Magpul MIAD full kit grip and black Magpul CTR mil-spec buttstock with pad. This lower does NOT includes a buffer or buffer spring. Other then that it has everything you need to attach to your existing upper.” All this for only, you guessed it, $1,200.

Im going to watch that auction and see if that sells, if someone is stupid enough then Im selling mine for $1800 haha
What a fucking tool. I recently saw an Eagle Arms (Armalite) lower for 275.00. I bought mine in summer of 2006 for 75.00! I paid 135.00 for my Noveske just 2 months ago.
I used to think Gunbroker was a decent place. But lately, the prices on just about everything (including non-potentially-banned stuff) have just seemed outrageously high.
The bid is over $500.00 now…
I found it intriguing, to say the least, that the seller apparently wanted to cover the SN on the receiver, so he used a merch tag that had the SN on it.

I don’t know–maybe he wasn’t trying to cover the SN–but I would have done. And I would not have used that particular paper.

“WILL BE BANNED”

the price is high, but not totally insane…just a really low-class sales tactic.
Well that does it!! I’m going to sell my KAC SR15 E3 IWS for the low, low price of $20,000. Any takers?
You guys will be sorry you didn’t jump on that price! ![]()
This is a natural result of people who are on the internet who probably shouldn’t be without child supervision. They know enough to find the gun auction sites (hell, who uses the internet and hasn’t heard of Ebay and the like), but not how to find meaningful information on stuff like prices, availability, etc.
Quite similar to the demographic that the Vulcan Arms site was designed for…
Fortunately filters prevent my seeing that, but it is pretty interesting.
