I read your article on the 75gr 5.56 tap and wanted to know if you had any thoughts on what brass life may be if you pushed duplicate reloads.
My interests are with a shorter 12.5" bbl and keeping the 75gr Hornady Match HP supersonic as far out as possible vs. the 223 load I’m shooting now.
Not having any reference other than your 2450fps vs. 2627fps out of the 14.5" bbl, I’m just wondering if I would be chasing my tail going after what I’m guessing would be 100-150fps??
I have a 35p but not really sure at this point if extra speed & wear-n-tear is worth what I can gain in extended reach.
Any thoughts??
