How come you never see a chest rig that DOESN’T use velcro. Is it that hard to make a rig (or even mag pouches anymore) that has a flap covering the mags and uses a fastex buckle or the lift the dot snaps. I’m looking around for one and everything that is flapped is velcro or is open topped with the shock cord. If anyone has any links that would be much appreciated.
Last year, I had a HSGI Warlord, V3. I think it was a 3…anyhow, it had fastex buckles and hook & loop but there were hook & loop flaps that covered it making it just it fastex buckle only.
Also check London Bridge Trading, they offer items with the covers for the velcro and fastex, may even do snaps or fastex only.
