+1 on that.
Our work guns go through a LOT of blanks and wear out a lot faster than we care for (especially the AK’s).
Blanks and Frang are two types of ammo that shouldn’t go through any rifle you care about.
I appreciate everyone’s advice. I bought a Yugo AK locally. It can be the beater. Now, if I can just wash this bad taste out of my mouth. I loathe the AK. 
Can’t you rig something to put between your FH and suppressor? Just make sure that it’s something that (a) does not damage your suppressor and (b) does not catch on fire (I was originally thinking a wooden dowel the size of the suppressor opening might work).
