Hello, I recently replaced my OE stock on a Stag Model 1with a MOE stock. In keeping with MA process, I drilled and pinned the stock to the extension as well as the adjustment pin lever. After a couple hundred rounds i noticed the roll pins backing out. Any ideas as to securing the pins? Thanks.
Have you considered using larger pins? Maybe a solid pin with some Loctite Black Max?
Might be worth a try:
[ul]
[li]Tap the holes.

[ul]
[li]Thread in some threaded bar stock with Loctite.
[/li][/ul]
[ul]
[li]Cut off excess.
[/li][/ul]
[ul]
[li]File flush, paint to patch.
[/li][/ul]
I noticed that as well after I replaced the receiver exntention and installed an MOE stock.
Just took a hammer and a punch and put them back in lol.
Probobly should so something more long lasting. Maybe a tiny bit of apoxy on the end of the pin before I drive it in.
Thanks for the ideas
