Brand new poster here, although I have read a bit here over the last few days.
After some thought, I have decided that a Colt LE6920 suits my wants. But, ‘ya’ know, it’s tough to find a new one available for immediate sale. It appears that a person just has to sit tight and await production, then be ready. Guess I’m used to cash being the issue and not production
New area of guns for me, I am just learning. Also trying to get a Colt Series 70 handgun and finding that like a difficult task.
I thought I saw a couple Colts in the most recent CDNN catalog, and at what struck me as a decent price. Worth checking out and seeing if they are in stock at least.
The website is something like cdnninvestments.com or some such. They have a PDF file with the most recent catalog.
At that price I’d check back with them while still scouring Gunbroker, Guns America and various retailers daily via search. You should be able to find one for $1,200 or less fairly soon.
Patience is always a virtue, my friend. Stay diligent and you will find what you are looking for. They’re out there under $1,200, just a bit harder to find right now no doubt.
I don’t know if you are aware but Colt is starting to produce the same rifle without all the “Anti civilian diatribe” carved into its side. I think that Colt is finally starting to wake up to caring about civilians that want their AR rifles. Its about time.
