Heller decision: AFFIRMED!

Today the Supreme Court should announce their decision on a critical RKBA case.

The 2007-2008 Supreme Court session ends today (June 23rd) so in all likelihood, before the sun sets, we will be celebrating or loading up on ammo and guns as we brace for some of the harshest gun bans we’ve ever seen

I’m ready to turn all mine in!:stuck_out_tongue:

I just need to know where the drop off stations/kiosks are.

When the decision comes it will be posted here:

SCOTUS Opinions

I’ve volunteered to have it in my front yard, and I’ll be giving $10 Walmart Gift Cards to everyone who turns in an evil black rifle!

Don’t worry, they will go door to door asking politely;)

This blogger thinks the decision will be written by Scalia. If it is, than Katy bar the door as the worm is about to turn. Scalia writing the decision would be the best possible outcome for gun owners. Hopefully they find it an individual right, that they apply strict scrutiny standard and incorporate it under the 14th amendment.

Comedy.

I keep refreshing the SCOTUS website… I’m not going to get anything done today.

I truly hope they do put this sad chapter of history behind us, unequivocally.

With a solid opinion which is not limited to just DC but will slam the door in the face of the RATS across the nation who intend to ban guns.

granted its just a rumor, but is 535 here on the east coast, and although I havent seen officially that the court has convened…

It’s like the night before Christmas and a death-row “last meal”, rolled into one.

I haven’t heard a more perfect analogy.

Gonna have to wait until Wednesday folks!!! Just heard it on the news that they wont reveal the ruling until Wednesday.

I have to agree with on that!

Only with home brew.

Things will happen fast. An unfavorable decision, President Obama, Lib congress… Pray for freedom folks.

A favorable decision, while great, won’t likely end our troubles anytime soon. It will bring some “breathing space” though.

Lame! SCOTUS dragging ass on this one

SCOTUS has lots of priorities, and they know this case will absolutely overwhelm their entire branch of government when it’s announced. As such, they’re waiting until everything else is said and done before opening the floodgates.

I’m just keeping my fingers crossed that it’s 6-3 instead of 5-4. I can actually see six or even seven of the justices coming out in limited fashion to agree that it’s an individual right, and then having the real meat of the decision (what constitutes “reasonable limitations”) get torn up by a messy plurality decision.

I’ve got the CC on standby to make a few panic purchases.

OK 2 quick question;

If the ruling is in our favor on this one will it make harder for anyone (dems) to stick a new AWB? I understand that they are also talking about the limitations as well, if that goes good are we never going to about another AWB?

Thanks and forgive my ignorance
