Heinie ledge rear and Warren tac FO front for the m&p?

Any one run this set up or anything like it on another gun?
Or anyone run the stock rear sight with a FO warren tac front?

The warren fronts are .165 high i believe versus .160 which is what the stock S&W front sight is.

This may screw up your 6 o’clock hold if you stick with the stock rear.

I run a dawson .160X.100 front sight with a Warren sevigny rear (similar to your concept of an FO front with a Heinie ledge rear) and i like it.

I also run a Warren .165X.115 front with a Warren Tactical rear. This gives me a 6 o’clock hold versus all of my other sight setups which are “shoot the dot”.

IF you like heinie rears and want to make it work it is only a matter of finding the correct front sight height and width.

Should be the same height for M&Ps for Heinie vs. Warren.

I use Warren Tactical sights for competition w/serrated black front, plain rear.

Double tap

I don’t really have an issue with the stock rear. Its the recent more aggressive cut. Like a baby ledge. Basically I want a ledge with serrations cut on the back with FO front. Warren doesn’t offer the back like that. So… I def want POA/POI hold.
Magsz Do you have a pic of your Dawson/sivigny set up? On your other gun with the 6 o’clock hold, is it a carry gun?

I do not currently have a picture. If i have a chance i will go ahead and snap a picture of the dawson sevigny setup for you.

Ive been futzing around with different front sights and i believe that gun is currently sporting a .160X125 and the Sevigny rear.

If you give me a few days i can change it back to the .160X.100 and shoot that pic.

Sure. That would be cool. Thanks.
