Heaviest -Longest <bullet that you will still be able to use with magazine .
What the hell is this supposed to mean?
Go back and read the responses to every post you have made. Many people have tried to mentor you. Take the clue, read more post less.
When you do post again, make some damn sense!
I agree. Try to make complete sentences.
I believe 77gr is the longest you can get. 75gr may be a bit more common and is still up there.
You just answered his question. Which shows you could read it. It was not hard for me. Sheesh. He just simplified.
Well just because I agree in theory, doesn’t mean I’m getting my blood pressure worked up like the other guy. ![]()
Wow! Lighten-up man. I believe most people understood what he was asking.
IIRC Hornady made a 100gr bullet. It was never loaded commercially but Lock Stock and Barrel sold some as surplus about seven or eight years ago.
but that is not magazine loadable…
I have used Berger 80 gr VLD and even experimented with their 90 gr in my match service rifle. but these were all load-one shoot-one affairs, they wouldn’t fit in a mag.
There was a thread some time ago where Grant shot some high dollar 150gr sub sonic round that cycled!!:eek:
Obviously, not readily available to us reloaders.
There is also another 100gr sub round called “Extreme Shok” but have never tried them. Think midway has them for $35-$40 a box??
Yes it was loaded to mag length, it was a spitzer. This is the only info I can find on it now.
What is the barrel twist that you will be shoooting these out of?

Makes a difference.
You guys are right. I was a little too hard on the poor guy.
I agree with the OP’s statement that magazine length bullets are better than longer -heavier.
Apparently the OP is capable of forming complete sentences. Although he still can’t spell or use proper grammar or punctuation. Here is a PM he just sent to me.
( 1) Do you have a learning problem? ( 2) Do you have a vision problem?( 3 )Are you just plain stupid? (4) What part ,cant you understand, out of what is the heaviest gr. bullet you can still use in magizine ? (5) IFyou dont understand this ,by all means dont let everyne on the thread know how stupid you are.(6)If you did know the answer why did,nt you just give it.(7) Insted of beng an ignorant asshole.CAN YOU UNDERSTAND THIS/
This board is taking a slide.
Don’t worry it wont last long, a mod will pop right in and clear the whole thing up.

I like pie!! ![]()
nice…
Take it easy.
This is an information forum. Please either provide information or direct the OP to where the information requested can be found.
Early in the decade, Black Hills produced a 100 gr magazine length, supersonic OTM loading for the military; it is no longer produced and has been superseded by more effective options.
The BHA 100gr was indeed mag length. It was uncatalogued, and rare to see.
There have been occasional other 80+ mag lengths folks have experimented with. With the 77s and 75s so good these days, what interest there was in heavier rounds has waned.
