Okay, I have a Colt HBar and thinking about putting either a DD Light rail or the Troy MRF
Will I have and clearance issues with install, and what FSB should I use for either???
If I go with the Troy, I thought about just cutting down the FSB, but if I go DD, what FSB do I need with the HBAR barrel???
I know, what some might think, get rid of the HBAR, but got it years ago, and want to use it for some Carbine courses in the near future.
I have a carbine length Bushmaster HBar with a rifle length DD Lite rail on it. I have a DD low profile gas block on it. No clearance issues.
Assuming you have a carbine length system, you might consider something like the Daniel Defense M4 12.0 FSP rail. That will allow you to use your existing fixed FSB.

DD also has the Omega X 12.0 FSP and the AR15 Lite Rail 12.0 FSP, which are similar.
Just one option (or three).
