Seems odd that they would sell millions of LE6920’s to the civilian market but not sell replacement Bolt Carrier Groups?
I found a few places that showed them out of stock but it didn’t look like they’ve been in stock for a long time.
Where’s the best place to find Colt parts for a LE6920?
BCG’s are severly backed up right now. When retailers actually get some in they sell out in a matter of minutes. Colt is a highly sought after manufacturer so it may be a while before we can find their BCG’s in stock anywhere. Good luck.
I cannot speak about Colt, so sorry this may not be of any value but:
considering the quality of BCM it would seem that the Colt BCG would be almost exactly the same, except for name.
Now, it took me a month to order a extra BCM BCG, for I’d respond too slow and they will got out of stock, as one time I timed, in 30 minutes. So I can imagine Colt products, from online stores, would keep stock no longer than that. So they will seem perpetually out of stock.
+1 for the email notification feature at bravoco, aim, and joebobs.
I think I have 9 or 10 BCM bcg’s 5 of which I have bought in the last 2 months. Also, I grabbed a couple of ST’s just to see the quality. They are not BCM’s (the gold standard IMO) but they are decent.

What the hell do you need that many carrier groups for? I think we just figured out why no one can find one.
Really what a whore… Took me 3 weeks to get one from bcm. Finally figured there timing of putting them on website and camped it. 
I signed of for email notifications and it took me longer than that. They time it perfectly to put them in stock when I am not home checking my email.
Seems right around 5:45-6:00 pm EST is when they are putting up daily batches

I feel like i got really lucky. I signed up for the email notification about a week and a half ago and missed it a few times. Then last Saturday i got on the site about seven minutes after the email came and snagged one. It only took about four days of playing the email game.
I think I have 11 or 12 carbines now, I need bcg’s for all of them plus enough for future projects. Lowers and BCG’s are what dried up in 2008 so I don’t take any chances. I think I have 8 or 9 stripped lowers in the safe as well
Being completely honest with myself, I don’t feel the need to wait for Colt and pay more when my BCM BCGs are doing quite well and are same spec. And when BCM had them on sale two years ago I got a few CMTs. Looking at the specs, less money same thing. Ran one 5,000 and sample of one still looks gtg.
Keep a close eye and sign up for e-mail alerts. I’m doing the same for grant’s lpks. Talk about going fast…

It took me somewhere around 10 tries to finally nail down another BCG from BCM. I would sign up for e-mail notifications and then as luck would have it, I was never in a position to jump online when they would come thru. Just the other day, I was sitting at my desk looking around the different forums when I heard my e-mail “ding” go off…so I was finally able to pick one up.
…and just out of curiosity, I checked back about 15 minutes later and they were all sold out again.
I don’t get into anything haphazardly, it’s all or nothing for me. I built my first carbine in February and haven’t looked back.
Have to ask. Do you ever shoot any of them?
