Has anyone tried the CMMG AR 10's from CDNN?

I see them on sale and they look like they have a lot of nice stuff on them but I haven’t heard of anyone testing them or even having one. Any input or stories/experience with them?

My good friend just got one of the SASS ones in OD green. I got to fondle it yesterday and I really liked it for the price.

Got one. AWSOME

I put a b5 SOMPOD, Spikes .308 Dynacomp and a Burris Tac30 in a ADM mount on it. Recoil is very mild, in fact I didn’t really even notice the difference between it and a 5.56 with a A2. Was shooting FGMM 168gr

If there are any left I would grab one before they are sold out.

I tried to sight it in, but the assholes at the range wouldn’t give me the time to put it on paper at 25yards. Had to try the windmill at 100 yards and couldnt even find paper. Once I get it dialed in, I’ll let you know how it shoots.

If they’d carry one with a better, longer handguard, I’d be looking pretty seriously at one.

I picked up the 18" SS version a few weeks ago and so far I love it; granted, I only have 200 rounds down range and that’s not enough to give a solid assessment of the rifle.

The fit and finish is excellent, the trigger has a little creep but the break is consistent and crisp. I have not tested the trigger pull but my guess would be around 6 pounds. There is no forward assist but I like that because it seem less bulky, I don’t know if that makes any sense or not.

I replaced the stock with a Magpul CTR and the grip with a Hogue; it’s much more comfortable to shoot now. I shot 2" groups at 200 yards with some cheap Magtech ammo and a Burris TAC30 1x4, I’m impressed. The most impressive aspect of this rifle is the price; I paid $1400 and it’s not a DPMS or RRA turd. I do not care for the handguard that comes with it though.

This was my first 7.62 rifle and I’m hooked.

Yea the only thing i didnt like was the SS barrel. I took of the FF system and used flat black auto paint to coat it. Looks much better now.

I’m not a fan of SS either, I was thinking of doing the same thing.
