Happy late Birthday Chuck. Even though you’re not with us anymore you left quite a legacy, and through you I’ve met some pretty awesome friends, so I’m thankful for that.
It is amazing how timely this is. I was looking through some gear Friday night, and found a daypack that I had one of my patches on.
I took the pack outside on the patio, and set it on a chair. Then I raised a glass of really good Bourbon and lit up a cigar. I could almost feel a seasoned Paratrooper giving me a slow nod of approval.
