Handguard/Rail Help!!!

Okay
I have a Noveske N4 Light Recce Basic with standard hanguards, I am wondering how much accuracy you really gain getting a free float rail vs staying with standard Handguards?

Thank You

Jason

God dam it, it depends on you, the rifle will benefit but if the shooter isnt up to it then whats the point? Ammo will be a factor to, so will the trigger and how you use it. Go buy the one you want and and see for your self. There are to many variables to put a number on.

Sorry

While true, I think it’s pretty harsh on someone that may be trying to avoid spending limited funds(potentially) on one thing or another. If DonJose has never shot his weapon then that’s one thing but if he has and is trying to make adjustments then I don’t think anyone should fault him for trying to avoid mistakes.

It makes a big difference if you put varying amounts of pressure on barrel when resting it on a bag. The rails do much more than just free float it, lights, grips, …

Get the rail when money permits. You will like it. Think Daniel defense , Centurion Arms, or other quality rails. Not a junk rail on a Noveske.

How well does it shoot now? What ammo do you use and what trigger do you have? Most importantly what kinda shooting do you do? Do you do the bulk of your shooting from the bench or do you spend most of your time shooting from multiple dynamic positions…drills and classes?

I recommend a rail. I run a Daniel Defense 12" Lite rail on a 16" mid length, lightweight upper.
