Hand stop attachment lightweigt forend

I’m running a Rainier Arms Evo rail(Samson Mfg.) that I’d like to get a hand stop on, without piggybacking it on a rail segment.

From a little research, it looks like rail segments that fit the Evo rail may have the same attachment hole spacing as Vtac/Troy rails.

Any hand stops available that fit some of these rail systems?

Look at IWC. They have a handstop that attaches directly to the hand guard. Like it a lot. Use it to hook a finger around, so it’s mounted at front end.

I’m in the same boat now as I’ve installed a Samson evolution and my gear sector handstop feels really bulky and the edges are prominent. This would probably work much better, but what is to keep it from rotating around the screw attachment point?

Mating surface of device has matching curvature of handguard so once attachment bolt is tightened, movement is impossible, unless screw backs out or nut/plate inside of handguard was not positioned properly to begin with. I used blue locktite. Beauty of iwc is their products are tailored to radius of each handguard listed on website so fit is very precise.

How’s the IWC piece actually feel? Compared to the Gear Sector, it looks quite a bit less comfortable. Seems like it has a more abrupt and taller edge. Thoughts?

Have two IWC hand stops. One for a Troy, one for a rail. Like them both a lot.

Mind posting a pic of it on the Troy?

I got you.

Close up maybe?

Ok I will today when I have a moment.

Cannot compare to gear sector, but it feels fine, no sharp edges. Smooth texture but i pull on it perpendicular to surface so no issue. Nice low profile.
