Looks like the NoVA folks started a fresh thread regarding shooting ranges in their AOR.
Here’s the one for the Hampton Roads people starting with the ranges I’m a member of:
Freedom Outdoors in Virginia Beach
- Biggest indoor shooting facility in the area (25yd max & 32 lanes)
- Allows full auto and NFA items
- Great selection of firearms, ammo, and accessories
- Various training opportunities
- Buy NFA items and able to shoot them while you wait for approval
Bear Swamp in Suffolk
- Outdoor shooting facility with up to 300 yards regularly
- Up to 700yd once you “qualify” or take one of their training classes
- 5 Stand Range for Shotgun
- Offers various training including DCJS stuff
- Pro Shop on site but doesn’t sell firearms
Feel free to post up or PM if you have any questions regarding any of the other facilities in the area. I’ve been to them all technically but since regulated myself to Freedom or Bear Swamp after COVID era.
