Hi Gents,
The halo has been sitting around for well over 18 months without any use. Anyway, received my new Noveske w/ A2 and installed peel washer and something just doesn’t seem right? or is this correct? Confused as hell and don’t want to wreck it on the first time out.

Is the collar not seated right? funky A2 FH? Or am I a moron? 
Tightened all the way down? This just doesn’t look right?

Looks fine to me, too. A couple of my muzzle devices result in an even larger gap than that. No problem.
Great! Was just making me a little nervous with that gap. I remember it closing tight on a 6920 I had.
Did you check the alignment with a piece of drill rod?
Do both. Check it with a long drill bit AND take the BCG out and look through the barrel towards a light source and see how the alignment looks through the whole setup.

That being said, it looks fine to me too.
alignment looks great when I pull the carrier out and look at a light. I stuck a K98 long cleaning rod down the tube and all feels well. You guys use a special dimension drill bit for this procedure? 
I don’t use a drill bit, I use a piece of .1875 drill rod.
A wood dowel is really good to use.
That said, I wouldn’t worry. Something would need to be really wrong for you to get a baffle strike.
