Halloween and common sense

Going as a victim of the Boston Marathon bombings. :fie:

I’m generally very difficult to offend, and yes, I’ll defend her 1st Amend Right to be a tasteless A-hole, but this would be the first Halloween “costume” I’d say something to the person about.

Other costumes like 9/11 victim, soldier killed in Iraq, and holocaust victim, rank up there as “where’s your common sense you POS?”

Guess I’m just getting old and cranky.

The limbo song “How Low Can You Go” just popped into my head, as a society there we have no bottom inwhich to hit . . .

Some went as the bomber himself . . .

Yep. Extremely tasteless…

Well, had the person bumped into someone in the Boston area who was directly impacted by that, and that person knocked on his ass…

That just shows how much things have changed where people have no limits and none enforced.

I saw a photo posted the other day with two white guys doing the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman schtick. The one kid had on blackface makeup, the hoodie with a bloody bullet hole in the chest, and the can of Arizona tea and Skittles while the other kid had the Neighborhood Watch hat and sweatshirt with a pistol.

Nothing like stirring the pot.

Very tasteless!

What ever happened to the Boston bomber?

You never hear about him.

Just stupid !! SMDH

S.M.

I think a reach all the way back as far as you can backhand pimp slap across the face of said clueless idiot would be not only justified, but probably cheered on by most people.

Halloween is the ANTI-intellectual holiday.

That’s why I celebrate, the Festival Day of the Reformation.

If it makes you feel any better my boy went as Captain America. ahh nothing like a 5 year old wanting to grow up to be a evil fighting ass kicker.

Nothing that a punch to the uterus wouldn’t fix.

Obviously not in her zip code.

Of all the choices we gave her, my 2 year old daughter decided she wanted to be Super Girl this year. Pink cape and all.

Will it seems we agree on just about nothing lately but I simply can’t believe that pig of a woman could possibly exist even in this crappy day and age. I could go on but it would be an example of judgement nearly as poor as hers.

I wore my Iron Man mask down to the little country store. Now if we had a big green guy and a hot red head!

Is there any resource to determine where she works, perhaps a news article, so we can help get that bitch swiftly fired?

She should have dropped by my house last night, I would have had some special treats all set up for her.

Ditto! And the Marine Corps wasn’t the only good thing to happen on 10 November - it’s also Martin Luther’s birthday, tb2G.

My 22 month old son went as a pirate. My wife insisted on a “traditional” pirate costume, but I thought a ‘modern’ Horn of Africa pirate would be more fun. We compromised, so he had a fluffy pirate shirt, a foam sword, and an airsoft AK. Reminded me of this: http://www.southparkstudios.com/full-episodes/s13e07-fatbeard
