I have a couple of Brownells crowning cutters up for grabs. I bought these as extas because I didn’t know how long they’d last under heavy use. The first set have cut nearly 200 guns and show no sign of slowing down so I may as well get rid of the spares. They’re taking up soace in the bench box anyway. They have never made a single cut and are unused.
I have a 79/11 degree in .750 so it will cut up to and including most bulls. This cuts an 11 degree ‘target’ crown on the barrel.
I also have a 90/0 degree in .750 that will cut up to and including most bulls. This cuts an 90 degree ‘common/hunting’ crown on the barrel. Normally this is used prior to the final crown to completely true/square a barrel.
In addition, I have a spare handle from Brownells made specifically for these cutters.
