Here is a clip I found on YouTube from my favorite cartoon series. I don’t think they show this anywhere on TV in the states. Its a Japanese “anime” style.

I am not down with the Japanese obsession with pre-pubecsent girls, but the guns are cool.
You should check out the anime series “The Gunsmith Cats”. They only made about 4-5 episodes, but they are good and available at Hollywood, Blockbuster etc. And VERY detailed as far as weapons. For example, there is a scene in one episode where a female KGB agent kills a guy with a Welrod supressed pistol! It even shows her unscrewing the back and dumping the spent case out. I was impressed.
It is interesting that they know every detail, but can’t own anything. I watched an interview with John Woo (not Japanese, but same phenomenon) and he said he had never fired a gun in his life.
I am also amazed at the number of people from Japan or Hong Kong that ask me if i will ship accessories such as stocks, rails, trijicons overseas… Of course I tell them NO WAY. I guess they need the items for thier airsoft?
good cartoon, but i dont get the little girl part? It is a wierd oxymoron.
I’m coming out of the closet and admitting I watch some anime. There, I said it. Call me a dork if you wish. 
I’ve seen the Gunslinger Girl series in it’s entirety, and I enjoyed it very much. I also think Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bebop, and Trigun are worth watching.
As for the little girl part, it’s nothing obscene. It’s actually quite sad in both the explanation of their pasts and the event in the last episode. I would love for the series to have continued, but lately it seems Japan is more focused on mythical, comedic, and children’s animes.

I guess I am a dork too, once sat down and watched the entire Cowboy Bebop Series and Movie (played at correct chronological setting) over a weekend.
Anime is TOTALLY fucked up and it’s got to be cultural.
But Cowboy Bebop is cool. In restrospect, Firefly is a total ripoff of C.B.

This is the first I’ve heard of the series.
Actually, I have no idea about that anime series although I’ve seen the photo on Google image searches. My screen name was around long before that came out.
