This is my 1st Guncrafter and it’s unbelievable.
Been awhile since I’ve had a 1911. Ordered it this Spring and it arrived in September. Had it on layaway until yesterday. George from Gunslingers, who is THE man, sent her yesterday and she arrived today. I’ll shoot her Monday.

I like the checkering on the front- and backstrap as well as the serrations on the slide top. That is a great looking 1911, and I hope it shoots well for you.

I see they have .50 CI conversion kits…sweet
50 GI is how they started.

What happened to the .50GI round? Is it still being made? Did anyone else pick it up as well?
It’s still around. They still make guns in .50 but I’m not sure if anyone else adopted it.
