Gun Control

Here it starts Patriots. I don’t know how to make a live link.

This is going nowhere. I love how they recycled, with 100% ignorance, a list of firearms from the 1994 AWB that was dated and poor even at that time:

“(A) any of the firearms, or copies or duplicates of the firearms in any caliber, known as—
“(i) Norinco, Mitchell, and Poly Technologies Avtomat Kalashnikovs (all models);
“(ii) Action Arms Israeli Military Industries UZI and Galil;
“(iii) Beretta Ar70 (SC–70);
“(iv) Colt AR–15;
“(v) Fabrique National FN/FAL, FN/LAR, and FNC;
“(vi) SWD M–10, M–11, M–11/9, and M–12;
“(vii) Steyr AUG;
“(viii) INTRATEC TEC–9, TEC–DC9 and TEC–22; and
“(ix) revolving cylinder shotguns, such as (or similar to) the Street Sweeper and Striker 12;

Literally everything on that list is a collectible at this point in time. (I realize a following section has the features list.)

The feature list and “high capacity feeding device” definition is pretty much all encompassing…

It sounds like a more efficient means to slopping the pigs on a corporate farm. I have absolutely NO IDEA what is being described there. :rolleyes:

But seeing as how I’ve made it 53 years so far WITHOUT paying a bit of attention to SlowJoe, I reckon I can ignore this also, and sleep well at night.

Jeez, look at the stuff on the first page. Firearms have to be registered, and you have to have a license to own one. The license is obtained by background checks, psychological evaluations, and interviews with at least 3 people who know the applicant. Mandatory liability insurance at a cost of $800. It’s not clear whether this is all for EACH firearm, or not. It goes on…

Shit…it’s not too late to start panic buying Beretta AR-70s and FN FNCs is it!?? Tell me there’s still time!

**** all that.

I’ve had to do less to obtain federal employment. But the above would be the end of 99% of the FUDDs at least with this we can count on them to get off their asses too and do something.

Yeah, and if you are divorced they want your ex to be one of those interviewed! LOLOLOLOL!!! :sarcastic::jester::suicide:

Will anyone pass that psychological test. What could possibly go wrong there, just hope you get the gun guy or gal psycho shaman. $800 license fee? Or was that for insurance? Who would complain about that? Was that every year? Obvious common sense stuff in that law.

Yeah, I’m not compiling to any of that shit.

Sheila Jackson, Houston Tx. She knows absolutely nothing about firearms, she just knows she wants to ban them. She’s the one that thinks ARs use that 50 caliber round.

Give her a piece of you mind here: https://www.firearmspolicy.org/stop_hr_127?utm_campaign=128_hr127_2&utm_medium=email&utm_source=firearmspolicycoalition

Scroll down to the bottom.

I hope it passes, just the kind of common sense gun control we need at this time.

Plenty in that bill for FUDDs to agree with. FUDDs compromise then claim victory.

Done, donated too.

I’m an NRA life member, I wish I would’ve donated that money to FPC and GOA instead.

:blink:

:sarcastic:

:no:

The Q crowd will get their GESARA and hell will freeze over before this happens. Ain’t nobody gonna pay 800 dollars a year, do 3 days of training, ask the ex for permission, etc.

And there’s no psychologist in the world who is going to accept the liability of approving someone, unless there’s a lot of money in it for them. Also note that not just any psychologist can do it. They’ll have to be approved by the attorney general. So you can imagine how corrupt that would be. The fees involved in accomplishing that would make the 800 a year seem like pennies. Probably what it would amount to is making a massive donation to an Ivy League psychology department or other big shot institution.

Isn’t the idea of the law that nobody gets a gun? Make it literally impossible, except for the rich and connected, to fulfill the requirements.

Good for thee, but not for me…

Pretty good breakdown of the components of the bill.

The more I read into this, the more I feel like there is no chance in hell it passes. Any Congress member that faces a hard challenge in '22 won’t vote for it and I’d bet you get some (D) Senators that cross the aisle and vote against it.
