Griffin Revolution 45

Anyone have one yet? How’s it doing for you? Share some pics! I see tons of stuff on the 9’s, and know they released the .45 after the fact. I figure that they should be in some people’s hands by now and want to get some real world experiences with them flowing.

I just put my order in this morning, now the wait begins.

I received an update from Silencer Shop that they’re awaiting the form 3 transfer stuff, which I’m assuming is so they can ship the can to the dealer near me. I was surprised that the SN of mine will be under 60!

Well you have nothing to do but to have to sit back and relax, it will be a while.

My F3 approval “should” came through this week if SS processing dates are correct, and I am at 1.5 months , and then just another 4 months after that.

This suppressor interests me.

If they had swappable multical endcaps in addition to the K config trick, I’d be all over the .45.

My last can took 5 months total. May to October of 2014. I was figuring this one would take 4-5 months also. So, mid summer fun!

I had never considered swappable endcaps, that’s a great idea. I’ll send them an email to see what they say.

I emailed Griffin and received a prompt response from Austin today. If front end caps become offered by others, it sounds like they’re willing to respond to that as well.

This begs the question, has anyone else talked about offering them? I wonder if there is any legality in what the ATF considers as a silencer part, and if these can be offered / sold without red tape.

Silencerco Offers them for the Octane .45 for 9mm

Any links to where these are offered?

Not sure but I would imagine the silencerco sales could help you

Brand new video, thanks! I had searched earlier based on your first post thinking this was something that had been out for awhile.

Silencer Shop will not test Silencerco’s Cap on Griffin’s Can.

We need a dB comparison of the Revolution 45 w/ 9mm cap vs. the Revolution 9 with standard cap.

Fireman?

I’m interested as well. I was pretty much set on the 9, but I’d like to,use a 40 as well as 300blk, and 9mm.

Anyone know the length of the rev45 in k configuration? Also I’ve herd the 9 is 5.5 and 6" in k configuration, anyone know for sure which?

I was all hot on that question for like… one day.

I don’t even shoot a lot of .45 let alone suppressed. I got the Revo-9. I need max performance in it’s primary role.

As for .300BLK, both are rated for Subs, so you don’t get anything extra w/ the .45… only an even bigger baffle gap.

Yea after crunching numbers, I’d be better off getting my reloader setup for 9mm. Better performance as u stated as well. I don’t even own a 45.

I asked the same question. According to Joshua Neff at Capitol Armory, things like suppressor end caps, muzzle brakes, and flash hiders are all considered “accessories” not suppressor parts. Completely legal. Unlike a suppressor baffle, which is a suppressor part. That is according to the ATF.
