Great experiance dealing with SWFA

IMO SWFA makes really good scopes. As a bonus, their staff is courteous, they readily share info, they are great communicators and they go out of their way to insure they have happy customers. That has been my experience I feel its important I share it here. I apologize in advance for a bit of a long post

Scope: SS10x42MMQ. Great quality. Took 10 rounds to sight it in at 100 yards. Manual was well written with simple instructions. I used Strelok iphone app to calculate and make one adjustment and on the 11th shot hit a target at 550 yards. I highly recommend the scope (and the app is amazing IMO)

Customer Service: Bought the scope used. It didn’t come with 1" inserts or an allen wrench. E-mailed SWFA asking for pricing for replacement inserts. Got a response about 10 minutes later asking for my address. 3 days later got a package with inserts and wrench. Mind you, I did not buy the scope from SWFA. I got it used from a private party

Ordered butler creek caps and kill-flash yesterday from SWFA. Today got an e-mail that kill-flash is temporarily out of stock and was told they would ship the caps today and kill-flash as soon as it arrived. I didn’t have to ask for a spit shipment.

Its important to point out that I am new to long(er) range shooting. This was my first scope. I called SWFA during my research and one of their techs spend 30 min on the phone explaining different functions of a scope, models they have, how to sight one in, advantages of side focus, etc. He even follow up with a few e-mails after I told him that I got one used, thanking me for choosing their product.

Hope this his helpful and I’ll be honest, I hope it results in some business for a good company. Thanks for reading.

Nice rifle. What do you think of the fixed zoom so far?

I like it a lot. I wanted a long range shooter so it did really well when I shot it for the first time. I also put on a set of 45 offset sights in case I need to use it for closer range

Btw thanks for the compliment. I also want to plug the istrelok iPhone app which is amazing and super easy at calculating windsage and elevation

Strelok is a great app. The tables are my favorite part.

What offset sights did you use. GH

I use these. I know they are knockoffs but they are very solid and the price can’t be beat. They are a 2nd set I’ve bought, that’s how much I like them.
