Check this out for corn cob media. I’m going to order some. I found out about it on Brianenos.com http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=115975

Small enough not to get caught in primer pockets.
If this has been mentioned before sorry, but the orange search button didn’t show anything when I searched for Drillspot.
Lizard walnut is like this. I won’t buy Corn Cob anymore. Not aggressive enough. Life is too short for Corn Cob.
Thanks and let us know if it’s as good as the reviews. What I’m using right now is the worst I’ve ever had.
I like clean polished brass. The 14/20 corn cob is all I use. Plenty aggressive for my brass. I throw in a cap-full of Nu-finish, cap-full of paint thinner and a cut up dryer sheet. 2-3 hours in the tumbler and it’s shinny like new.
#40 pounds is a lot of corn cob. I tumble 3K worth of 9mm/.223 a month and am still not even halfway through the bag I bought June last year.
The best size is 14-20? They also have 20-40 grit for about a dollar more.
cap-full of paint thinner and a cut up dryer sheet.
What does the dryer sheet do?
I got carried away and poured a half a container of the Lyman red media in some older corn cob that had some Dillon polish in it.
Somehow the two mixed together ended up working very well.
Dryer sheet traps the dust. They deliver extremely fast.

Man… I rotated out some old media with new media from the same bag…
It was AMAZING how much faster the brass tumbled in my unit. I held on to that old stuff way too long.
I have been using the Dryer sheets for years now, they do help alot !! I cut them in strips and throw them in !! Try this guys,it works AWESOME,I learned it from a buddy that does Volume reloading on both a 550 & 650 Dillion and his brass cleans up fast and comes out great !! Use 2/3 Corn Cob & 1/3 Tuff Nut. It cleans like crazy, shines fantastic and lasts along time !!! I think I’ll look into ordering some “Bulk” Corn !!! ![]()
Thanks for the dryer sheet tip. I’ll be trying that out this weekend.
