Impact is really rolling back prices on Colt LE models. $9.99 P-Mags too!
I will agree that it is nice to see prices dropping down below the panic line. Now if the ammo will show up to feed all of these new rifles then I’ll be a happy camper! ![]()
I’ve seen some OK deals (in my mind) but am pretty new to carbines, so I might not be seeing the ammo sticker shock as bad as the rest of you. .45acp availability is what’s killing me right now.
Wow! Thats the cheapest I have seen the 6940. Im still shoping for a new rifle I was leaning toward the DDm4 but this makes me want to rethink it.
I picked up some PMAGS. Couldn’t pass up that price. ![]()
Impact has ordered a ton of them, and I think they overestimated demand. They’ve had a pile of 6920s in their Ogden shop for some time.
I stopped by the Ogden store a few weeks ago when I was traveling. They had Colts stacked on tables, boxes & boxes of mags, handgun cases stacked behind the counters AND their ammo shelves were full.
$1500 for a 6940? If I had cash in hand I’d own one - that’s a great price.
I’m not seeing Pmags for $9.99
Looks like they raised the Magpul prices. Earlier this morning (my time) I checked and they were 9.99. My guess is someone made a mistake and when they realized it, they fixed it.
If memory serves me, they were 1395.00 in the store.
hopefully when i get back from the desert they will still have good guns in the store so i can go down there.
Wow! A 6920 for $1300 and right below it a 6520 for $1700. What a world!
When I looked yesterday, it was advertised as a 24hr special.
Yep that is quite a bit less than what they were selling them for. About 4-5 weeks ago I had checked Impacts pricing and the 6920 & 6940 were in the $1799 range.
I must have caught the ass end of the deal. Damn. ![]()
Do people here have a favorable view of Impactguns? I have looked at them before for other items and considered purchasing from them. Have not heard much negative or positive about service/experience.
I work in Ogden so I have some experience…
The biggest thing is that retail shop and internet store appear to be two different departments. Folks in retail shop are good people. They don’t try to push their stuff on you, and they do try to give you their best advice. Some of them jump on training opportunities, and I’ve trained with some.
Internet portion appears to be hit/miss and I think it depends if listed item is physically in stock or not. I’ve bought some stuff online from them without issues, and I had one situation when internet order (ironically, placed in their retail shop) never materialized.
They are very busy and at times it takes a bit of time to get through on the phone, and at times they don’t spend as much time talking to you on the phone, again, when the shop is busy. They really don’t have dedicated person answering the phone; the sales people do that, so you might understand that sometimes they get overwhelmed.
Ah ok thanks for the input. I suppose before I order anything online it would be best to make a call and confirm with someone that they have the item in question in stock.
A customer of mine ordered a RRA from them last week and they were very responsive to the FFL needed and what not. They shipped within 48 hours I think.
No complaints, but is the 1st and only experience…pleasant from my end.
Only complaint from my customer was that the tracking was not emailed as stated, but he called and got it immediatly.
